Pearson Educational Measurement Solutions is a suite of custom assessment
services for state education departments, large school districts
and other assessment organizations, delivered both online and on
paper. PEMSolutions is used to services are used to create, deliver,
score and report statewide summative assessments, formative assessments,
English language assessments, and alternative assessments as well
as custom online testing and reporting services.
Pearson PASeries
Pearson PASeries™ (Progress Assessment Series™) has
been built from the ground up to provide scientifically valid, reliable
formative assessments that connect classroom instruction to results
-- while simultaneously helping schools, districts and states meet
the requirements of education reform. PASeries™ Reading and
PASeries Mathematics measure progress throughout the school year
and forecast growth toward state performance standards using industry-standard
Lexile and Quantile scales.
Pearson Perspective
Pearson Perspective provides a comprehensive overview of a student's
performance on state assessments in a friendly, easy-to-understand
report that leads to deeper and broader Web reports and resources,
helping families understand how students are doing and what they

Pearson Mentor
Pearson Mentor software provides teachers a deeper understanding
of performance assessment scoring so they can better integrate statewide
assessment and classroom instruction. Customized to a state's performance
assessment program, teachers receive a consistent and professional
training experience, both to understand the specific state program
and to improve student performance. Pearson Mentor is also appropriate
for state departments of education, large school districts, educational
consortiums, professional certification, and test publishers with
